We will meet for Mass at 9 am at San Juan del Rio. This is also the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a Holy Day of Obligation. After mass, we will proceed down to Marywood and enjoy coffee, tea and light refreshments. Our program will begin at 10:15 am. There will be a presentation and silent reflection time. Following a delicious lunch in the River Room, we will end the day with an hour of adoration in the chapel. The retreat ends at 2 pm.
We will have items for sale including ornaments to benefit our Hugs for the Homeless Florida Council of Catholic Women Campaign.
We are asking that participants bring one of each item to help us fill Holiday Bags for the Food Pantry at Our Lady of Good Counsel:
- 1 Can of Yams or Green Beans (14 - 28 oz only please)
- 1 Box of Stuffing
- 1 Box of Mashed Potatoes (mashed are preferred for the families)
- 1 Box of Brownies
- 1 Can of Fruit Cocktail or Peaches/Pears (14 - 28 oz only please)
- 1 Bag/Box of Holiday Candy (candy canes, chocolate kisses, etc.)
10 am - 2 pm
